[The Transmission opens up to reveal two men, one who looks older and quite serious, while the other has an ethereal look to him but certainly he seems agitated. In a burst of bats, Queen Esha appears and she looks agitated too. Their location is non-descript, but this would be the first time that all three rulers have addressed the people at once. All of them are dressed in armor and look quite ready to fight the war hands on.

The Ethereal one speaks first, while the others stand to the side.]

It is quite unfortunate that we must all address you under these circumstances. For the time being all energy has been devoted to strengthening the barriers around the villages that have not been taken over. All areas are under siege, no place is truly safe. It was never our intent to drag you into this war, thus we won't ask you to fight with us...

[Esha interjects at that part.]

At least not without incentive. We cannot lie to you all, the lost of Muir and Athlis. [At the mention of Athlis, Zul scowls.] We are at a strategic disadvantage. But those of you who we brought here, if you fight with us, then we can guarantee your return to your proper worlds.

[Zul finally speaks as he interjects.]

If you fight with us, we will send you to whatever world you wish to go too. Be it proper or not. But we must be the ones to win. Eliora and her so called "people" cannot offer you freedom. She doesn't want to offer you freedom. She's quick to blame us for her imprisonment, but it is she who killed her own brother and sister for control of this world. Though she did not have the power to sustain it on her own.

[Vozar simply shakes his head.]

Eliora is as power hungry as any other warlord, she holds no fealty to anyone. Even if you choose to fight with her, she will not hesitate to kill you afterwards. We have never wanted any of your deaths. We have always planned to send you back to your homes eventually. Ultimately the decision is yours on whether you believe us or not.

[It's been a week or so since Tokiomi's arrival. Never one leave anything to chance, he's used his time wisely. He's gathered what additional information he could without resorting to a formal introduction, he's completed a little light reconnaissance, he's tested and retested the new limits of his powers, he's started a record of his days, and he's fiddled endlessly with every gadget in his home, especially the communicator. It would never do to seem at a loss, or at anything less than the best front he can present, before introducing himself to strangers.
Particularly if he's meant to form-- intimate alliances with one or more of them.
Though for the time being, he's allowing himself to cling to the hope of finding some way around that. There is no Mark in evidence on his cheek-- yet.
Though he is gratified that his Command Seal is still in evidence on the back of his hand.

Tokiomi, as he appears onscreen with his crimson suit and polished-mien, comes across as a bit of a dandy-- and a man bit older than his actual years. Though he is preoccupied with the status of his now Masterless Servant in the Grail War, and the nature of whatever magical mechanism is being used to suppress his powers-- and, naturally, his wife and daughter, whom he misses-- one would never know it to look at him. Composed, and projecting an air of authoritative calm, his manner is open and low-key.

As this is as much a fact-finding mission as it is a strategic introduction, Tokiomi is determined to reveal as little-- or as much-- about about himself as he deems wise.]

[Based on the view as the feed begins, Elena has propped her device up somewhere that allows her to talk while pouring through written notes; despite being dressed down - at least for those unaccustomed to seeing her out of the suit - she's clearly focused and apparently on something of a mission.]

Okay. I've been putting together what I can but there are a lot of gaps in what I know. What happens to people who first arrive in Fuar. The third ruler - Zul, I believe? I'm not expecting much there, of course. Then there are the curses but I don't really know where I'd start with that.

Then there's the matter of what we're given seemingly for no reason at all. The items and pets that arrive from home. Or the powers that are bestowed. As far as I can tell, they seem to share a common theme of being things that we want on at least some level. Maybe not what we want most. But I'm wondering if there are any anomalies in that theory...and if there are, why that might be.

[She turns her gaze back to her papers for a moment, leafing through until she finds her to-do list.]

Also. Aura and Assana. I know there's a lot else that's been going on but I'd like to explore both sooner rather than later. I can read about them but sometimes you don't really get a feel for a place until you've been there, you know? So if anyone knows their way around and wouldn't mind showing me, I'd be grateful. I can pay for whatever we need to get there so don't worry about that part.

[It might take a few longer days at work but that's not an entirely awful ordeal.]

Oh...and if there's anything else I should be thinking about other than what I have, let me know. I know I can't do everything at once but it doesn't hurt to be able to plan for it.

[Rachel was no stranger to crash landings in odd new places and times. But this was the first time she'd been given a communicator upon entry.

She was wary of the thing, to say the least. It was probably being monitored, and given how many people were currently after her skin, giving away her location by using it was probably a bad idea. Then again, this was yet another new world, so the chances of her past pursuers following her here were low. At least for the moment, anyway.

Right now, the most pressing need was to check out her surroundings and contact the people she was familiar with. With her powers as weakened as they were, broadcasting telepathically was a crapshoot that was bound to give her a migraine, and that was something she couldn't afford at the moment. Besides which, the distance the communicator allowed her might be a good buffer if things went south on her]

Hi there. I'm Rachel, and I'm new here. It's pretty obvious that something fishy is going on with this island, so does anyone wanna give me the scoop?

Oh, right. I almost forgot - if anyone's seen a train with a large dragon inside, direct me to it. Seems I've lost it.

So, uh... this is kinda real late, but for anybody who knew'em, seems like Dean Winchester, his brother Sam, and Castiel have all gone back home. [He frowns, idly scratching at the mark getting visible on his cheek. Doesn't care too much about it now.

He's not in all that great of a mood right now. Benny, much as he wants to pretend otherwise, ain't a solitary creature. He fit in with Dean, hell, he even liked Cas. Sam too, if the kid'd stop trying to behead him and see he wasn't so bad.

Now he's lost that. Lost what kept him on the straight and narrow and it kinda scares the hell out of him.]

Thing is, I can't figure out if they're the lucky ones or not.

[Here's Helen, sitting at one of the tables in what looks to be her new bar in Ithir, and she's grinning a little too mischievously as she looks down at the device. Turning the device around, she trains it on a cute, very pink drink in front of her, with cotton candy decorating the cocktail glass's rim.]

I promised another drink preview, and I never, ever break a promise. The other day, I showed you Mischief. Today, I'm showing you what I like to call....[DRAMATIC PAUSE.]

Tony Stark! Isn't it glorious?

Tony Stark is made up of cotton candy vodka, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, grenadine, and it is garnished with... [She points to the fluffy, pink cotton candy.] You guessed it! Cotton candy! I think this might be the cutest drink I've created yet! It's pink and sweet but it'll give you one hell of a hangover if you have too much.

This too will be available at The Lucky Apple on Friday night until forever, so everyone can have a taste of Tony Stark! [And the feed cuts off. And a Helen is very, very amused right now.]

[Waver's device blips on to show a little black nose with many whiskers. There is a beady little eye, a couple of squeaks, and then a fat but small black rat drags it across an extremely tidy bedroom. Waver is sitting on the bed with her shirt unbuttoned at the bottom, showing slightly-bloodied bandages. There's also a bit sloppily wrapped around her head and one of her arms, along with band-aids and bruises dotted all over the place. She's just sticking another one on and patting the light brown mutt at her feet when the rat finally makes it to her bedside.]

That should do for the worst of it. ...Ah? Watson! I said to bring it to me, not to turn it on!! And you! Don't you dare try to lick me just because I've stopped watching you! You aren't nearly as clever as you seem to think you are!

[How mortifying! She snatches the device up so quickly that she nearly drops the stupid thing. The puppy simply deflates and gives that doe-eyed look that puppies are famous for.]

I guess I shouldn't question a gift, but that still doesn't make me less confused over the, 'Why me' question. I mean this is a nice place and this house kinda reminds me of my folks place in Gongaga. At least what I remember of it. It's been years since I had gotten to see it.

Anyway, the villagers said there would be others in my situation on this network, so I figure wy the heck not? So do any of you got any information beyond what the villagers got? They are nice and all, but they seem to be stuck on the whole sex thing.

[He just looks sheepish at the mentioning of the sex part, but not really embarrassed.]

[Here is a blonde girl, who doesn't actually realise she's activated the device in front of her. Instead, she just keeps poking at it, looking completely and utterly confused as she does so, and she's not even sure about whether or not its really working. She could just be talking to herself right now.]

I don't know how... Is this working? This thing is so strange.

[The girl bites her lips, silver eyes narrowing just slightly as she raises the device right above her head and looks up! Because apparently that will make it work. Or something. She has no idea. The silly pose lasts about two seconds before she sets the device back down on the table and brushes her bangs out of her eyes.]

Um. I'm not really sure what I'm doing, but if this is working... my name is Cynthia! And I'm wondering if anyone has seen my comrades. They have blonde hair and silver eyes like me, and they carry big swords like this...

[She turns the device to show a large broadsword leaning against a wall, for a brief second.]

I tried to speak to the natives and they...said some strange things to me. Admittedly, they worry me, since I don't think someone like me can really....participate. It would be a bit bothersome... [She looks so worried right now. She's really not sure what to do, because Claymore stigmas are not at all pleasant to look at, and why would anyone want to lay a finger on a Claymore anyway?]

Anyway! If this is working, I guess I'd just really like to know if my comrades are out there! Thank you very much for listening!

[Logic with an animal falls rather flat, but Daneel really doesn't know how else to present the situation. Logic is just what he does.]

This is for your own good, Baley. It will prevent later problems. Be still, allow me to finish, and I will replace your blanket. You will be warm. I promise you that.

[The unicorn stills, fussy but submitting, while Daneel finishes brushing her glossy white coat, and after a moment, Daneel turns away to replace the brush and fetch the blanket to drape over her. It's then that he realises his phone has somehow activated itself, and he picks it up, looking at it curiously even as he carries the blanket back to Baley.]

Can't say I'm surprised.

[The audio is clean despite Tony being inside the suit. If anything, he just sounds a little muffled. He's uplinked Jarvis to his communications device. Easy as pie. At the moment he's on his way out of Fuar.]

Looks like Pepper's well on her way back home. [There's just a hint of sadness, but nothing completely telling of how worried he is about that.] Probably for the better.

The question becomes now is, did she go home or did she just disappear?

[There's a metallic clang in the background as he lands back in Muir, just outside his own house.]

I'm looking for a few tech savvy folks hanging around Attollo. If you need a job; good. This is your lucky day. Start off the new year with a little gold in your pocket.

Emphasis in computers, and engineering. Maybe someone who's good enough with book-keeping. Also, anyone who's confident in their interior design skills.

[Once the suits off, he's switching to video while walking through his basement set-up for his own engineering supplies and gadgets.]

Oh, and anyone who got anything useful out of the so-called showrunners at the Winter Solstice Ball, drop me a line. I'm going to start putting together a database so everyone's up to speed on what's been found out.

[Here's a Helen, sitting at a table in what looks to be an empty bar... but it's not the usual bar that she works at. This one looks completely different. The view is limited outside the window behind her, but the bar appears to be elevated up high, and the dense, green foliage hints at it being in Ithir. Helen looks pretty damn pleased with herself too, standing up and turning around to show off the large shelf of alcohol behind her. She actually doesn't know who supplied her with all that booze but it's safe...she's tested it all so she can guarantee that.]

Alright! I've been working on this since I first arrived, and it's about time I announce it. I ran a bar back in The Country and my aim's been to reopen it and get things going again. I'm happy to say, it's finally finished, and The Lucky Apple is in business again!

I have a couple of waitresses and a fellow bartender lined up already, but if you're looking for a job, let me know! We're located in Ithir, [here], and we'll be officially open next Friday. There will be a grand opening on Friday night with one free drink for each visitor, and lots of music. I'm unleashing a few new drinks of mine too. Here's a preview...

[She turns her device around to show off an interesting concoction in a cocktail glass, with two curled lemon rinds resting on the glass's rim.]

This is what I call Mischief. The ingredients are a secret, for now, but have a few of these and you'll be causing plenty of mischief yourself. [She picks up the glass, taking a sip before setting it back down again.]

There will be another preview in a couple of days. [Oh god why is she giggling.] Oh, and I don't just do alcoholic drinks. I make mocktails and serve soda too for those who prefer not to have alcohol. So, until then!

Sorry to impose like this but I need a favour. Preferably someone already in or coming to Muir so you're not going so far out of your way. I'm out of a few things and I can't really get out today so if anyone can bring me any of the following I'd be grateful:

- Whiskey. Smallest bottle you can find is okay.
- Tea. Preferably something that's good for the throat or stomach but I'll take anything.
- Fruit. Citrus especially.
- Soup.

I'll pay you back, I can even give you the money ahead of time if you don't mind coming by twice. Just...bear with me if I'm slow to get to the door. And if you want to call in a favour owed at any time, that's okay too.

Tseng, I haven't asked you because Fuar's a long way to come from just for this. Reno...you know why but this isn't for you.

From what I can tell, this isn't any world I've heard of and kidnappers like this never do keep it to one, so I want to know how many others were kidnapped. And what was happening before you came here. [Since, you know, where he came from his kind was killing the human world so it seems like a good idea to check that out before making too many enemies in a place he doesn't really get.]

Also, about the sex part of this, is that true or am I misunderstanding it? [The villagers seem too accepting so Nasch can't really trust them because who accepts that so easily? He turns his head, scoffing.] Either way someone can just try to make me follow their order. They'll find it won't be so easy. [There's just no way he's doing a thing like that simply because he's supposed to according to some freaks. Nope.]

Wow, I was totally on board with getting an awesome beach vacation for Christmas until I got the fine print. I mean don't get me wrong, I like being surrounded by hot guys who want to have some fun! But I was kinda too busy to participate in some weird alien sex experiment. I know how this ends. One minute it's like fantasy porno, the next there's all weird tentacles and some guy wanting to give an innocent girl her own penis or something. [The screen starts out black with a simple symbol appears resembling the shape of a snowflake. For the first time a video feed opens up to show the sorceress known as Melarue. Those who live in Fuar may remember her as the one that welcomed them to the village. One can see in the background that she is in a large ornate room, reminiscent of a throne room. ]

As many of you know, Winter Solstice swiftly approaches. Those that are intending to pay Fuar a visit and attend the Grand Ball coming up at the end of the week. I must warn you in advance that violence will not be tolerated in my domain. Her majesty, Queen Esha has decided that she shall be in attendance and she is not as kind or forgiving as I and my fellow village leaders. For your own sake, do mind your manners if you get the opportunity to speak to her directly.

I realize that the roads have been unsafe more so than usual due the intrusion of criminals from neighboring lands. I can assure you that the roads leading into Fuar will be clear and secured for your safe passage. My personal guards will see to it. This also means that any weapons brought to my castle will be confiscated and not be returned until you are ready to depart.

We do realize that many of you have grievances with us for your presence here, Soliania, Athils and myself do not decide who is chosen. We are simply here to welcome you and help you make your transition into our world. So we ask that you try to put your grudges aside for one evening and simply enjoy the ball.

[With that said, she simply nods at the screen and the transmission cuts off.]

I haven't thrown a party in my house yet. Such blasphemy. [He grins, typing up a few details on the screen that will show up on your device such as his address, the date of December 14th.]

I'm thinking something normal needs to happen. Normal and casual, anyway. If, by chance, everyone wants to do a gift exchange let's get that list going. Secret Santa, maybe? Buying gifts for people you don't know tends to work out pretty hilariously.

Or just show up with something, and don't spend more than a few silver pieces on it. Wrap it and profit.
